OctoPrint exposes many more options in any given interface allowing the user finer control over their 3D printer than is possible using AstroPrint. I would like to encourage everybody who has an idea for a plugin to give it a try and develop it yourself. Their source code is therefore a good point of reference on how to achieve certain things.
