Marvel's The Defenders is an American web television miniseries created by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez for Netflix.It is based on the Marvel Comics characters Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist, who form the eponymous superhero team.It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and acknowledges the continuity of the franchise's films. In “The Defenders,” we find out what that was all about. As revealed in Daredevil Season Two, the Defenders Black Sky wasn’t that kid at all. Meanwhile Elektra, resurrected as the Black Sky goads Iron Fist into battle. Or something more?
